Russian car market decreased by 49% |

In 2009, new car sales in Russia fell by 49% to 1.47 million units in the market back in 2005. For 2010, forecasts show a stabilization of the market could be helped by a program "crock" with 200,000 seats.
Last year was extremely difficult and for the box that has produced more than 300,000 cars, up from 920,000 in 2008. However, in 2010 is expected to increase production by 50%, writes RIA Novosti quoted by Hotnews.
Data AEB (Association of European Businesses in Russia) shows that sales Avtovaz, Lada manufacturer, fell last year in Russia by 44%, to 349,000 units and the major foreign brands have seen sales falling by 56%: Chevrolet 82,000 to 104,000 and Ford. And other major producers have seen sales decreasing significantly: Toyota (-64%) and Hyundai (-61%).
However, estimates for the current year shows a slight increase in car market in Russia, to 1.5 million units, a background piece that starts the program in March with first to dispose of $ 1700 and a budget for 200,000 seats.
