Subaru awoke to a Toyota Verso Impreza S

Subaru has launched a new compact MPV market in Japan. Subaru AWAKENING is a new version of the Toyota Verso debranduită S recently launched at the Paris Motor Show. In addition to the modified front design, the model is identical to that of Toyota.

Subaru woke up the first design model Impreza's front, back, slightly modified from Toyota, but is otherwise identical to Back S, including interior. Toyota Verso S, known in Japan Ractis name, was unveiled recently at the Paris Motor Show.

Customers will have the new Subaru Awaken the choice between two petrol engines: 1.3 and 1.5 liters, and the option to fully or AWD traction. Transmission is ensured by a CVT gearbox and a CVT Sport.

AWAKENING is the latest model in partnership with Toyota Fiji Heavy Industries, parent company of Subaru. The two brands are in development and a sports coupe, rear-wheel drive, planned by Toyota FT-86 concept launched last year at the Tokyo Auto Salon.

For now, Subaru has no plans to launch new compact MPV Awaken in Europe, but in a more distant future, nobody knows ...
