Suzuki Concept R3 - compact MPV with 6 seats

Suzuki, the Indian subsidiary, Maruti Suzuki India, presented the premiere at Auto Expo in New Delhi R3 concept - a small MPV class that can carry six passengers in three rows of seats.

Indian market is rapidly changing and evolving lifestyle of consumers. To meet such a market, Suzuki has developed a concept, R3. Suzuki R3 is a compact Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV), tailored to customer needs. The design was created by the Department of Research and Development of Maruti Suzuki India, in just nine months.

R3 concept can accommodate six people, three rows of seats, with a single vehicle Maruti Suzuki range and unparalleled to any international auto show. The technical details were not disclosed, but that will be built in version number, the model could get a gasoline engine and a 1.2 or 1.4 liter diesel built by Fiat's 1.3 Multijet.

Maruti Suzuki India has to stand another 16 vehicles, including the Kizashi and SX4 hatchback.
