Suzuki launches in Japan market model Solio
Suzuki Motor Corporation in Japan announced new model Solio an MPV that offers fuel economy, a high cabin, spacious, all in a compact body. The model could replace Wagon R in Europe.
Suzuki Solio reflects a concept of developing a high van, compact, easy to drive and low fuel consumption of 1.2 liters propeller. Its compact dimensions allow excellent maneuverability on city streets while enjoying a generous interior. The main novelties are the sliding doors of the body, which comes in addition to folding chairs and the new system "one touch" (a touch), allowing a variety of arrangements inside. Being easy to drive, easy to use and economical, the new Solio offers everything expected of a compact car.
Suzuki has created the Solio to be an ideal choice for customers looking for a Japanese car to make the transition from mini cars to a more compact model. Suzuki expects the new model to join Solio Swift as a pillar of growth in sales in the compact category.
For 2011, Suzuki has proposed that targets a number of domestic sales of 12,000 units.
In addition, Suzuki will provide approximately 800 units per month by the Mitsubishi Motor Corporation. This OEM agreement is limited to the Japanese market.
New Suzuki Solio is available from Suzuki dealers in Japan in early January.
