Suzuki Swift 2 million units sold in 6 years
Suzuki has announced that global cumulative sales of the company's strategic model, Swift, reached two million units in January this year, six years and three months after it was first launched on the market.
Suzuki Swift launched the first global strategic model in November 2004, originally produced and sold only in Japan, then expanded production in other countries such as Hungary, India and China. Today, Swift is driven in 124 countries and regions around the world, Japanese manufacturer announced in a press release.
Suzuki Swift reflects experience in the production of compact cars and dedication to the sport models, stylish and fun to drive. 67 major awards worldwide in 26 countries and regions, including Asia, Europe and Oceania show how Swift is viewed.
Suzuki Swift international popularity is reflected by the fact that approximately 15% of the 2 million units sold in Japan, about 39% in India and about 27% in Europe.
