Suzuki Wagon R - winning the "Good Design Long Life Design" in Japan

The choice of Suzuki Wagon R series for "Good Design Long Life Design Award", the jury said: "Wagon R was printed series of mini vehicles, which has a high cab and a separate hood. The style was changed by successive generations, but fundamental dimensions were carried forward and refined well. Well-known scale's Wagon R has created a separate category of automobiles, which has received many followers. Wagon R is widely recognized for its ease of maneuverability and became an iconic presence Japanese car market.

This is the second consecutive year in which a model Suzuki won Good Design Long Life Design ". Suzuki Jimny in 2008 was designated the winner. Good design competition founded in 1957 by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry in Japan is held annually by the Japan Industrial Design Promotion Organization, in order to improve the lives and advance the industry through good design.
