Tata Nano will inspect all machinery supplied

Tata Car will inspect the Nano delivered 33,000 so far to ensure that there are problems in some cases after the cars caught fire. Inspections will be free, and the company insists that it's not a recall campaign.

Tata Motors has launched an internal inquiry after their cases when few cars were on fire in the street Nano spell, cited by Hotnews.

But the company says that the Tata Nano has a rugged design that is perfectly safe and added that it's not a recall campaign (recall the service), but one which to reassure customers.

Tata Nano is the world's cheapest car, costing between 2,000 euros and 3,800 euros in India. Tata Motors Nano car delivered about 33,000 last summer until now, very few compared to demand. Tata Nano in India is only available in three equipment versions, but the manufacturer wants to release in Europe in 2011.
