Porsche has launched a limited edition of just 356 units of new model 911 Speedster - Porsche tribute to first bore the name - 356 Speedster. After the premiere in Paris, can be ordered at the price of 200,000 euros.

Two-seat model is significantly different from other family members 911. In the best tradition, the windscreen is lower by 60 mm, the contours are more sports car and the back, wider by 44 millimeters, certainly stands out.

The new Porsche 911 Speedster combines features such classic sports car with performance improvements of the new generation 911. Six-cylinder engine with 3.8-liter delivers 408 horsepower, 23 more than for the 911 Carrera S. With an average consumption of 10.3 litres/100 km, the new Speedster is as effective as 911 Carrera S Convertible without Powerkit. Seven-speed gearbox PDK (Porsche Doppelkupplungsgetriebe) is responsible for transmitting torque to the rear axle, equipped as standard with a lockable differential. System PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management) and ceramic brakes (PCCB) are available as standard.

The new Porsche 911 Speedster will celebrate its world premiere at the Paris Motor Show (2 to 17 October 2010) and will be available on the market in December, priced at 201,682 Euros (including 19% VAT, valid in Germany ).
