The new generation Opel Movano sets new standards in its segment

2nd generation Opel Movano increased in size, covering a wider range of needs. New Movano is leading innovative technology, a practical and comfortable interior, fuel consumption and best cost competitive in its class.

Revealed the second generation Opel Movano - light commercial vehicle that raises the bar in its segment. The new Opel Movano comes on the market with a new exterior design that readily identifies it as a member of the new generation of Opel products, along with Insignia and Astra.

The new Opel Movano now offers customers a wider range of body: vans in four lengths and three heights, platform chassis, crew cab and Combi versions. Modular platform, developed in collaboration with Renault, also offers front-wheel drive or rear wheel drive, your choice. Rear axle drive variants can be ordered with double wheels.

Loading capacity of the range was also increased to 2.5 tonnes (with a total weight exceeding 4.5 tonnes). VAN versions have a capacity of 4.4 cubic meters and 17 cubic meters.

The wide range of standard equipment of the new Opel Movano is extended and optional innovative lighting or central curves that can be removable and used as support for laptops.

The new range of powered four-cylinder common-rail diesel (2.3 CDTI) provides high performance and low operating costs. The engine power ranges from 100 CP/285 Nm and 150 Nm CP/350. All engines meet the EU4 and EU5 regulations. EU5 standard versions are equipped with particle filter. Transmission is ensured by the six-speed manual transmission as standard, optional Easytronic automatic gearbox can be ordered.

For added security, the new Opel Movano is equipped as standard with ABS and EBD. ESP is also standard and optional rear-wheel drive versions for the front-wheel drive.

The new generation Opel Movano will be available in versions VAN spring, following the course of 2010 to be launched and other variants.
