Volkswagen has unveiled the new Polo GTI, which promises to be the fastest and best performing and most economical version GTI ever produced. Given under the hood of a 180 hp 1.4 TSI engine, the new Polo GTI will reach the market in summer.

TSI engine is connected to a double clutch transmission DSG seven gears and thrust is on the front axle. Additionally, the new Polo GTI is equipped with an XDS differential, traction control system. The XDS is a broad based limited-slip differential (EDL), part of the standard ESP system.

For better stability and response, the Polo GTI is equipped with new springs and dampers that lowers ground clearance of 15 mm to the standard version Polo. Wheels 17 "are identical to those of the Golf GTI and etrierele are painted red.

The new Volkswagen Polo will officially debut at Geneva Motor Show (2-14 martie 2010) and is expected to reach the market this summer, and prices and specifications will be announced around the date of release.
