Toyota has problems in South Korea

Toyota made a recall of almost 13 thousand units in South Korea.

Toyota, the world's largest automaker, has recalled 12,984 cars in service in South Korea because of mats that can block the accelerator pedal, forward Wednesday.

They add other than 8 million cars Toyota has already recalled worldwide in recent months. Toyota Camry recall cars, sedans and hybrids, the Lexus ES350 sedan and manufactured in November 29, 2005 to January 27, 2010, shows data published by the Ministry of Transport and Maritime Affairs of South Korea. The decision also refers to recall 635 vehicles imported by individuals.

Toyota began selling cars in South Korea in October 2009 and may revise the sales target in this country after this recall action in service.

"As soon as Toyota arrived in South Korea appeared recalls massive problem, and Hyundai's domestic market dominance could not be stopped," said Hanwha Securities Co. analyst company, Kang Sang Min.
