Toyota will increase annual production target of 3% |

Japanese car manufacturer Toyota Motor Corp. announced that it intends to increase by 3% target of production for the fiscal year that will end in March 2010, from 6.5 million units, according to Japanese newspaper Yomiuri.
Newspapers said that worldwide sales rose due to various government programs designed to stimulate demand for automobiles in November.
Governments from Tokyo to Berlin have offered subsidies and incentives to encourage consumers to buy new models, more efficient in terms of fuel consumption, measures aimed at supporting the automotive sector, severely affected by the economic crisis.
Report in the daily Nipper comes five days after Toyota, the biggest producer of automobiles in the world, has decreased by 100 billion yen (one billion dollars) loss of operational perspective and has increased annual sales forecast for the fiscal year current 1.5% to 6.6 million units.
