Toyota will present in January 2010 a competitor for Tata Nano

Toyota has announced it will unveil at the Delhi Auto Show, in addition to 13 other vehicles, a concept for a new compact car, created for the Indian market. Without giving too many details, it is expected a direct competitor to Tata Nano.

Toyota Motor Corporation, through its subsidiary in India, Toyota Kirloskar Motor Private (TKM), announced that it will present at the Motor Show in Delhi from 5 to January 11, 2010, a concept for a new vehicle in the compact class, but does to specify other details. But we anticipate that the new model will be a direct competitor to Tata Nano - world's cheapest car, which has a very successful local market.

In addition to the new concept, Toyota will have to stand restyled SUV models "Prado", "Fortuner" minivan with the "Innova", the market leader in India.

TKM will present the latest technologies and Toyota in terms of future urban transport by the concept of personal mobility "i-REAL" hybrid vehicle "Fine-S 'and concepts.
