Toyota Will Return To Normal Production In November Or December
Japanese carmaker Toyota believes that full production will return in November or December, nine months after a powerful earthquake and tsunami waves devastated the north-eastern Japan, affecting and parts suppliers.
Toyota car production will begin to recover in July in August in Japan and other countries where the company has factories. Deliveries will recover completely, but at the end of the year, Mediafax.
Japanese Automakers have been severely affected by disrupting the supply of parts, mostly electrical or resin produced in northeastern Japan due to the devastating earthquake that rocked the region on 11 March and the tsunamis that followed.
Toyota shares closed the trading session Friday, April 22, up 3.1%, while those of Nissan and Honda, other Japanese automakers, climbed 3.6% and 2.3%.

Toyota could fall to third place among the world's largest automakers, after General Motors and Volkswagen.
Toyota's local production decreased by 62.7% in March, Nissan announced a 52.4% drop and Honda reported already reduced production by 62.9% in March and expects a decrease of 50% of the original plan to in late June.
Toyota will almost certainly lose its position as leader of the global auto industry this year, for the first time since 2008, for General Motors, and could even fall to third place, outrun and Volkswagen.
Toyota sold 8.42 million cars last year compared with GM's 8.39 million. Japanese manufacturer might sell this year just 6.5 million units.
