U.S.: Ford and Chrysler recalls over 50,000 cars in service

American automobile manufacturers Ford Motor and Chrysler recalls to repair the U.S., a total of 55,846 vehicles for safety reasons, according to The Wall Street Journal, quoted by Mediafax.

Chrysler recalls 22,118 cars in model Dodge Nitro, Dodge Ram, Jeep Liberty and Jeep Wrangler, built in 2010, due to possible malfunction of the braking, according to U.S. National Traffic Safety Administration. In these models, hose through which fluid can leak and lose fluid.

Ford recalls about 33,728 vehicles Transit Connect, model 2010, to replace the system of fixing the ceiling material. The system does not meet federal rules on head protection.

The two groups will notify owners to bring in cars from local dealers for repair.
