Volkswagen EOS - facelift for 2011, the first at Los Angeles Auto Show

Volkswagen has released the first details and photos of the new Eos coupe-cabriolet, which will be its world premiere at the Los Angeles Auto Show with an exterior facelift along with other technological improvements and new equipment.

Volkswagen EOS has been improved in terms of technical level design updated and improved with new facilities and amenities. Outside, the Eos has adopted the new design language Volkswagens received new headlights with LED lights and a modified grille. The rear light clusters stand out in two parts also in LED technology and a redesigned bumper with integrated diffuser.

The technical characteristics of the new Eos in 2011 include many innovations: Multi display "Premium" Light Assist system, second-generation Park Assist, Keyless entry and start, etc.. Leather upholstery now reflects more of the sunlight and heat, thus providing improved comfort.

BlueMotion technology continues to Eos, leading to even lower levels of consumption. Stop-start system and brake energy regeneration for example, 140 hp 2.0 TDI engine, reduces fuel consumption by 0.7 liters per 100 km, to 4.8 litres/100 km. SRB petrol range will comprise four units with turbo direct injection power of 90 kW/122 hp and 155 kW/210 hp.

Volkswagen Eos will be premiered on November 17 in the Los Angeles Auto Show and will be launched in Europe in mid January 2011. The basic price in Germany will be 27,975 Euros.
