Volkswagen officially unveiled the new Tiguan, at the same prices

Due to high demand, today announced that Volkswagen will present the new Tiguan facelift at the Geneva Motor Show but the model is available for ordering today even for the same price as the previous model, despite improvements.

Volkswagen announced that it launches the new Tiguan earlier than scheduled in view of the high demand for the old model can not be found on the stock. The new Tiguan will debut in the premiere at the Geneva Motor Show in March, but the manufacturer has already announced the base price: 24,175 euros for the Trend & Fun 1.4 TSI engine with 122 horsepower. This means that despite improvements, the new Tiguan is the same price as its predecessor.

Tiguan debut in 2007 to mark the great success stories of the German car industry. Basically, the new model became the leader of the Volkswagen SUV segment in Germany, and this is true today. According to the German federal statistics office, the best-selling SUV between Hamburg and Munich continues to be the Tiguan.

Volkswagen Tiguan was one of the most popular models of the German manufacturer worldwide. Volumes were recorded throughout Europe, Russia, USA, China, Brazil and Australia. In Germany, its market share in the compact SUV segment has grown by about 21% in 2010 and in Europe by 12%. Overall, Volkswagen Tiguan shipped 572,000 units of its market launch in autumn 2007. Now, the Touareg's little brother wants to continue this success story with a new look and advanced technologies.
