Volkswagen Tiguan - the first facelift to the China Auto Show

As part of the seventh edition of the International Motor Show in China (Guangzhou), which opened its doors yesterday, Volkswagen and its local partner SAIC presented the new Tiguan in 2010, with a small external facelift.

Compared to the current model Volkswagen Tiguan, marketed in Europe, North America and international markets, Chinese Tiguan model presented in Guangzhou with a new grille with chrome trims, which extends to the headlights and a modified spoiler design.

Inside, the new Tiguan are not very many changes, drew the only three-spoke steering wheel and instrument panel redesigned.

Volkswagen and Shanghai Automotive Industry Corp. (SAIC) did not provide too many details, especially if these changes will address the aesthetic and the model sold in Europe. The most likely model will be presented for the first time in Geneva in March 2010.
