World premiere in Paris: the new generation Mercedes-Benz CLS

About a month before the beginning of the world's first Mercedes-Benz has officially revealed the first details and photos of the new CLS - first four-door coupe in the world, now the second generation. Market will be launched in 2011.

CLS, Mercedes-Benz has created a new category of vehicles in 2003, the first combined elegance and dynamism of a coupe with functionality and comfort of a sedan. "The new CLS is a step in the ideal design of Mercedes-Benz," said Professor Gorden Wagener, Head of Design at Mercedes-Benz. "At the same time is inspired by traditional style and elegant sportiness that has always defined Mercedes coupe sites.

New Mercedes-Benz CLS proportions remained spectacular: long hood, narrow windows without frames, dynamic roof plunged back. Four-door coupe from Mercedes-Benz, the same proportion as in 2003, immediately noted its appearance completely new. Innovative front is reminiscent of the Mercedes-Benz AMG SLS. Visual grille is integrated into the hood of the Mercedes star is dominated by large. Air intakes, large and elongated, black athletic appearance emphasizes the vehicle.

Mercedes-Benz has left for Paris premiere of technical details, but certainly new range of engines will include common units 250 CDI with 204 hp, 350 CDI with 265 hp 3.5-liter V6 with 306 hp and drive V8 4 7-liter twin-turbo 435 hp. 4Matic four-wheel drive will be available more powerful engines.
